Richard Tudgay Joined Remington Hospitality, the hotel management company for Ashford Inc., in
March 2024 as Chief Technology Officer. As Chief Technology Officer, he is responsible for developing,
implementing, and owns IT strategy for Ashford Group of Companies. Ensuring that operational and
network infrastructure supports the organization's communications, computing, and data processing
needs. Evolving and maintaining robust cybersecurity measures establishing and maintaining policies
related to architecture, disaster recovery, provisioning, and security to protect company data. Building a
high performing IT team that fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous
improvement. Plays a lead role in identifying and implementing new IT technologies, systems, &
hardware, thus ensuring the IT department is a differentiating, transformative aspect of the organization
that drives innovation.
Prior to leading Remington, Richard was with Highgate from December 2015-March 2024, 8+ years, as
CTO and Omni Hotels & Resorts as VP, Technology from 2001-2015, 14+ years.
