With more than three decades of experience in hospitality and a background that spans the stage and the boardroom, Jennifer Belk White brings energy, insight, and heart to every conversation about people and performance. Her career began with a theatre background and a realization: a room filled with learners is the best kind of audience.
Today, Jennifer serves as Vice President of Human Resources for General Hotels Corporation, a Midwest-based hotel management and development company operating a diverse portfolio of properties. Her career includes senior HR and training roles at companies such as Resort Lifestyle Communities, Lumina Foods, Metropolis (formerly Premier Parking), The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and Ignite Restaurant Group.
Jennifer’s approach is grounded in the belief that hospitality begins with how we lead, train, and care for our teams. She holds a BA in Drama, an MS in Management and Leadership, and a Doctorate in Leadership. Her professional credentials include SPHR, SHRM-SCP, Certified Hospitality Trainer (CHT), Certified PI Practitioner, and Certified HEROIC Coach. She also serves on the board of CHART (the Council of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers), where she helps champion learning and development across the hospitality industry.
Based in Indianapolis with her husband and two cats, Jennifer is a lifelong learner, leadership advocate, and passionate voice for creating hospitality cultures where team members thrive and guests feel the difference.
